As part of your Italian course, we organise weekly outings to give you the chance to explore Tuscany. Our teachers will accompany you around Arezzo, sharing information on its history and well-known sites. They will also organise trips to some of the attractive nearby towns and villages such as Anghiari, Castiglion Fiorentino, Poppi, Stia and Monte San Savino, showing you around and introducing you to local craftsmen before you sit down to a well-deserved coffee and chat.
If you want to organize your own free time, Arezzo and its surrounding areas have a lot to offer.
Arezzo is close to other great sites in Tuscany, which are easily accessible by car, train or bus: less than an hour from Florence, a little bit more than an hour from Siena, Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi, 30 minutes from Cortona, 60 minutes from Montepulciano and Montalcino, to name a few. Rome is only 70 minutes away with the fastest train. There are dozens of sites within easy reach to make your visit something to treasure.
If you are looking for a place to land once in your life, or once every year of your life, this is your school. I studied italian at Cultura Italiana Arezzo for six months and what impressed me most was how many students had returned to continue their educational and to reconnect with the staff and the friends they had made there.
You will be taken care of and you will learn well at this wonderful institution.
