I chose Arezzo and Cultura Italiana Arezzo for several reasons: small class sizes, the fact that the city is predominantly Italian-speaking, the opportunity to live like a local for three weeks, and the opportunity to explore a part of Italy I'd never visited before.
When I started the course, I only knew a few words, but no grammar; I couldn't speak or understand Italian well. My goal is to reach level B1. I know I couldn't have done it in three weeks, but I'm amazed at the progress I've made. Even more surprising is the friendship I've made.
